This 10 x 100 foot permanent public art project pays tribute to Washington, DC and the historical Washington Color School Artists movement from the 1960’s. Located in the retail level window bays of a residential condominium building this installation presents unique large scale artwork to both residents and commuters while activating a street corner with color, texture and light. In addition to this public art installation was a two month pop-up gallery exhibition nearby that featured the original artwork used for the public art project.
